It started out pretty
cool. There was something about Pruitt Taylor Vince's character that I
really liked. Not to spoil anything, but he has some, let's call em
hearing issues, and I really loved how that was done. You kind of felt
how it might be to have that kind of problem. I think he sort of stole
the show, actually. He was the most interesting character.
However, the main characters were all likable too, and the movie in general had good pacing, never getting boring.
I paint myself (like, art stuff), so I'm often bothered by how artist are presented in movies, but they did a pretty good job here. No face palm moments I thought.
Had the movie continued the way it started, it could have been great. Unfortunately I thought it didn't quite manage to keep it up. Not that it was bad, it just, wasn't great, you know?
But it looked good, no sloppiness as I can remember. I suspect the budget wasn't super high, but they did a real good job nonetheless. It's never really obvious that the budget is low. (Not that I know if it was though)
